Lifelong Learning in Prevention of Suicide in Europe

About ELLIPSE

The ELLIPSE (or E-LLIPSE) project, co-funded by the Erasmus+ Program of the Europe Union, gives you the opportunity to broaden your knowledge in suicide prevention. In the ELLIPSE Gatekeeper+ educational program and the 12 Steps Safety Plan web application, you will find free material, which is primarily aimed at students in higher education. However, everyone who is interested in suicide prevention can find something new and inspiring, in the course and in the web-application.

The ELLIPSE Gatekeeper+ (EG+) course on the Navoica.pl platform is available in 7 languages (English, German, Hungarian, Norwegian, Polish, Ukrainian and Swedish). The 12 Steps Safety Plan is already available in all these languages.

We are grateful to all of you who joined us in this important work. And we would like to welcome all of you who wish to learn more about how we together can save more lives.

The hands-on format and easy access to important persons (significant others as well as institutions) is very good, even crucial, at times when you find yourself in a situation where you can’t think clearly. The app provides a feeling of safety and functions as a ”friend” when you are in need. The step-by-step approach is very good and methodical. Person with own experience of suicidal crisis, Sweden

I think it can really help people. Psychiatrist. Sweden
